The Coast vs the Hinterland
Two patterns shape our recommendations. Along the coastal villa belt — Canggu, Berawa, Seminyak, and especially the Bukit areas of Jimbaran and Uluwatu — blackouts and salt air push designs toward hybrid systems with battery storage and marine-spec hardware. Inland and in the city — Denpasar, Sanur, Nusa Dua — the grid is steadier, so straightforward grid-tied systems capture the value without battery spend. Ubud is its own world: canopy shading and end-of-feeder connections that reward careful design, and our most genuinely off-grid projects.
