BaliSolarPro started in 2018 with one engineer, one van and a conviction that solar in Bali was being sold backwards — maximum panels first, questions never. Two hundred-plus installations later, the conviction is now a company process: every project begins with a load calculation, every quote is fixed, and every system we build stays on our maintenance books. We are based in Denpasar and work across the whole of south Bali, from Canggu's villa belt to the Uluwatu cliffs.
How We Think About Solar
The cheapest kilowatt-hour is the one you do not buy from PLN at the moment your panels are producing — everything else is detail. That is why we obsess over load profiles and self-consumption rather than headline kWp numbers, and why we will happily talk a client down from a 10 kWp quote to a 6 kWp system when that is what the bills support. It costs us margin and earns us referrals, which has proven to be the better trade.
It is also why we are honest about what solar in Bali cannot do. A grid-tied system will not power you through a blackout — that takes a battery. PLN no longer credits exports one-to-one, so oversizing is wasted money. And a heavily shaded Ubud roof is sometimes simply a bad solar site. We would rather tell you now than have your system prove it later.

Tier-1 Hardware Only
Panels from Tier-1 manufacturers with 10-year product and 25-year performance warranties; Growatt, Deye and SMA inverters; LiFePO4 batteries rated for 6,000+ cycles. Nothing we would not put on our own roofs.
2-Year Workmanship Warranty
Mounting, wiring, waterproofing and commissioning carry our own written 2-year warranty on top of the hardware warranties — and we are local, so claiming it is a WhatsApp message, not an international email thread.
We Maintain What We Build
Every system we install can join a maintenance plan: cleaning, inspection and monitoring with the same engineers who built it. Most of our 2018–2020 systems are still on the books.
Paperwork, Handled
PLN export-import metering, SLO certification, commercial interconnection approvals — we run the entire administrative process in person at the Denpasar offices.
The Team
We are an engineer-led crew: system design and commissioning are done by qualified electrical engineers, installation by our own permanent teams — no subcontracted strangers on your roof. Between us we have put solar on villas, guesthouses, restaurants, a dive shop, jungle land with no road access and one boat. The combination of design discipline and tropical field experience is, we think, the whole product.
